We hope you are staying safe and healthy.
Since BAT can't have you into our house right now, we are continuing our very popular online seasons! Now up at BAT, it is Shelter-in-place Season III. Four online performances spanning March to May 2021.
With any luck, BAT will be back onstage sometime during 2021. So, keep in touch. Until then BAT is sheltering in place. Be safe and wash your hands often!
BAT's world-famous Script Club meeting is now online (through Zoom) check HERE for details and check BAT's calendar for dates and times!
The 2020-21 on-stage season:
Laced with humor and heartache, A Good Farmer is the story of two women—a farm owner and her unlikely best friend, an illegal Mexican immigrant—fighting to survive in a small town divided by America’s immigration battle. Rothstein brings us the very human story behind some of today’s contentious political issues in a play about love, friendship, and finding the power to face what divides us.
To reach a wider audience, BAT has also translated the English dialogue into Spanish supertitles. So you hear the show in English and read along in Spanish.
The Summer of 2021 BAT is bringing Hay Fever to the parks!
No need for an antihistamine, just be ready to laugh, laugh, laugh!
Postponed due to COVID-19
Hay Fever A COMEDY NOT TO BE MISSED written by Noel Coward
Dates and locations to be announced as cities sign up!
Best described as a cross between high farce and a comedy of manners, the play deals with the four eccentric members of the Bliss family and their outlandish behavior when they each invite a guest to spend the weekend. The self-centered behavior of the hosts finally drives their guests to flee while the Blisses are so engaged in a family row that they do not notice their guests' departure.
